Sport activities bring confidence to specially abled children. Our organization helps such children by organizing sports events which help these kids coming from different backgrounds where their parents are not able to support such events financially. NAB Sabarkantha is an non-profit established since Feb, 1984 to help specially abled people around Sabarkantha District, Gujarat. We are devoted to provide platform for special abled of any age through adequate training and activities to help them stand in society independently.
You can help any physically challenged person for any problems they are facing related to their livelihood, we will be happy to help them.
Since last 35 years our organization is tirelessly working for handicapped, blinds, differently abled people for their education,training and rehabilitation with help of donors & well-wishers. People from this neglected class requires better facilities like modern library, rehabilitation center, physiotherapy center, hostel for girls. District of Sabarkantha & Arawalli had no blind school and students have to go to Ahmadabad or Mahesana for education.
People like us settled in the field of education & physiotherapy thought of being useful to their on less fortunate disabled people. One Cultural Program of the blind at Himmatnagar could give birth to this organization. CBR was one of the main project that took us to the last disabled person of our district. We in the earlier stage wanted to work for the all round development of the disabled where education, Braille library, science laboratory all the way established by our organization, our main aim Integrated / Inclusive education for disabled & organizing state level activities, in drama, garaba, sports, in Braille, even for teachers were our initial activities than we jumped into the field of the education of other disabilities followed by their employment in the institution of education for general students making them get loans from bank or our organization for self employment and other employment opportunities by providing Braille books and both to the students and teachers started our educational programme later on tape recorders cd players, angels, mp3 players with memory cards and pre filled pen drives so that blind & low vision students can study very well.
